GYROpalooza 2026 Special Edition discs

The Prototype GYRO-X Beam is MVP’s new 10-speed driver and the next evolution of GYRO technology. An ultra-lightweight Fission core allows for the lightest possible flight plate, while a smaller but significantly denser GYRO rim with metallized weight filler moves more weight to the outer edge than ever before. This helps the disc maintain spin, hold its line, and fly further. The Beam is straight and glides well, turning slightly with more power before a moderate finishing fade. The mold has been made more throwable than earlier Beam prototypes, so a wide range of players can enjoy it. The triple-foil stamp is illustrated by Matthew Jorde, and the disc releases in 145-175 g.

The Neutron Mass is a brand-new overstable putter from MVP, debuting in this box. It follows the low-glide profile of discs like the Stasis and Range, but in a slightly faster speed class. The Mass handles power well without turning over and finishes with a reliable fade, making it a strong putt and approach disc for players who want plenty of stability and accurate landings. The triple-foil stamp is designed by DoubleRam Design, weights 170-175 g.

The Particle Proton Control is an overstable 10-speed driver designed as a more stable complement to MVP’s Trail. It is dependable in headwinds, fights back reliably at the end of the flight, and feels great in the hand. Particle Proton is one of MVP’s most eye-catching plastics, and here it is paired with a triple-foil stamp by Green C Studio. Weights 170-175 g.

The Proton (Soft) Turbulence is an overstable 7-speed fairway driver from Streamline Discs and the fourth Special Edition disc in the box. Its concave flight plate supports clean releases and helps it handle power, while reduced glide makes distance easy to control on the fairway. The soft Proton plastic offers a grippy, comfortable feel. The stamp is illustrated by Brent Schoonover, weights 170-175 g.

What do Lab Second and R2 Neutron mean?

Lab Second discs are MVP family discs with a minor cosmetic imperfection, such as an imperfect stamp or an off color. They are made for play, and the molds in the box are assorted. R2 Neutron discs are MVP discs in Neutron plastic, also in assorted molds. The MVP family includes MVP Disc Sports, Axiom Discs, and Streamline Discs, so the discs in the box can come from any of these brands.

Golden Ticket and GYROpalooza 2027

A total of 100 Golden Tickets are hidden in randomly selected 2026 GYROpalooza boxes. A Golden Ticket is an invitation to MVP’s GYROpalooza event in Marlette, Michigan, where MVP celebrates each year with its dealers and Golden Ticket winners. Purchasing a box does not guarantee a Golden Ticket.

What is GYROpalooza?

GYROpalooza is MVP Disc Sports’ annual celebration and release season, marked by the GYROpalooza boxes with special edition stamps, new molds, and prototypes. The name comes from MVP’s best-known innovation, GYRO overmold technology, where the rim is made from a heavier plastic than the center. This moves mass to the outer edge, so the disc spins more stably and holds its line longer. See also our other MVP Disc Sports discs, the full MVP family range, and our mystery boxes.
